Was würden die Besucher sammeln? Und was fasziniert uns heute noch an Objekten, die vor rund 400 Jahren gesammelt wurden? Was ist die Zukunft des Sammelns? Auch im Besucher steckt ein Sammler. Nach dem Motto «Staunen, bewundern, stehlen, sammeln, tauschen» fordert «What would you steal?» zum Museumsraub auf. Nach einer ersten Inspektion im Amerbach’schen Kabinett des Staunens, findet der Besucher sein Objekt der Begierde, mit welchem er seine eigene Sammlung ergänzen möchte oder eine neue Sammlung initiieren kann. Für den Raubzug steht dem Besucher ein Räuber-Tool-Kit zur Verfügung. Nach dem virtuellen Akt des Stehlens verlässt der Dieb das Museum mit einer Fotografie seines Raubguts und teilt dieses auf der eigens kreierten Plattform https://museomix-collect.herokuapp.com. Diese Datenbank bietet Zugang zu weiteren Informationen zum gestohlenen Objekt sowie anthropologischen, historischen, politischen und ethischen Aspekten des (Raub-)Sammelns.
