The truth is somewhere

This ring, preserved since the end of the 18th century, seems to have been extracted from the bottom of the Venetian laguna, and tied to the fate of a certain Andrea. Help us find Andrea again and learn more about him by navigating the city archives of Venice. If your quest is successful, you’ll leave with a souvenir of your archival explorations. The map and city model will help you in your navigation. This playful installation brings together gameplay stategies and an interactive map of the Serenissima. A tablet-based app invites you to lead an inquiry, tracking an elusive goldsmith through five successive enigmas that double as an exploration of early 19th century Venice. Smart objects and facsimiles of historical documents dot the players’ path, bringing together immaterial data and tangible traces of the past.
